On Sunday afternoon our Division 5 team played host to Coatbnridge Victoria in the 1/4 Final of the league winners K.O. trophy competition and after a closely contested game secured their place in the semi-final by winning 2-1. The venue next Sunday is Houldsworth BC and all players should report there before 1.30pm. Well done boys.

Following his success in the afternoon Jim Purves was in action in the 2nd round of the Lanarkshire Champion of Champions competition where once again he recorded a victory to move forward to the 3rd round next week.
