The 2016 championships got underway this week with mixed results.

On Wednesday our representative in the gents Senior Singles was beaten at Springwells and our No 1 Rink in the gents Senior Fours also lost at Clarkston. There was a victory however for our 2nd rink in the gents Senior Fours with a victory for Ian Baxter, John Black, Fraser Gillespie and George Low over Victoria at Springwells.

In the Lanarkshire singles Derek Phillips beat his Dunbeth opponent at Springwells.

On Friday night, our Triples team of Gavin Chisholm, Chris McGuinnes & John McHutchison beat Coatdyke at Victoria and our Pairs of Ian Chisholm and David McIntyre were at Gartsherrie where they beat Gartcosh.
