Seniors' Closing.
The seniors' closing took place on Thursday and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Special thanks to Janie for clearing up after a great tea.
Cabaret Night
Friday Night saw the start of the winter social programme and an almost full house was brilliantly entertained by Alan Walker. The next social evening is on the 12th. Oct. in the form of a Quiz Night.
Auld Yins Vs. Young Yins
This annual competition resulted in a hollow victory for the Young Yins, thanks to the unselfishness of their opponents, who realised the Young Yins did not have the quantity or quality of players to provide meaningful opposition, agreed to allow several of the Auld Yins players to represent the Young Yins without any penalty being applied to the overall score. Players who could represent the Young Yins should try and forget their fears and inhibitions and play in this fixture as the experience of playing against this standard of opposition would stand them in good stead and increase their chances of making it in Bowling. We look forward to a more meaningful game next year.
