The Social Committee has to be congratulated on the success of our first Sportsman’s Dinner.

John Telford and his team have to be thanked for the organisation of this event.

Thanks are also due to members who assisted in many ways ie. Bar Staff, sellers of raffles, collection of monies etc.

The dinner was excellent and we are indebted to the caterer, John MacFarlane for his donation to the evening. Other sponsors of the evening are highlighted on the website sponsors page, thanks to all of them for their support.

The highlight of the evening was without doubt the performance of the guest speakers, John Rowbotham and Alan Rough. Their recollections of their time at the top in football were hilarious.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event and by doing so benefitted the club.
