Mince Pies & Meteors - Members Event

Weather permitting there will be the an observing session under the dark skies at Castlehill Heritage Centre on Friday 12th December. With no moon in the sky, we should be treated to stunning views of the Milky Way and the chance to see plenty of Geminid Meteors. The giant planet Jupiter will also be on show, and if really lucky we might catch Europa occulting Io.

There will be the usual warming refreshments and some short talks including ones showing members photos from recent astro trips abroad.

Event starts at 7pm and will finish late in the evening.
