Success ! Learning Links Internaitonal CIC has been successful with two applications to the Welsh Government Taith initiative to encourage international exchanges with Jamaica.
The Adult Learning project is called 'Building Bridges of Friendship' - for adult learners registered on a course called 'Exploring the shared history of Wales and Jamaica'.
Adults in Wales and Jamaica are taking the opportunity to learn about the shared history of the years of plantaton ownership and enslavement of Africans by the Welsh Pennant family.
The Youth project is called 'Youth Activities' providing opportunities for Welsh and Jamaican young people to undertake visits with activities to share Welsh culture and heritage with young people in Jamaica, while learning about Jamacian culture and heritage.
