Challenge 1 - Pick and cook
Challenge 1: Each year we ask participants in the show to make a cake using a given recipe. Your challenge this year is to make a cake, pudding or tart that includes at least one ingredient from your garden. You need to provide us with three photos - one of the raw ingredient[s] from your garden, one of your entry whole, and another showing the inside. We’ve given an example in the three pictures of blackcurrant and lemon drizzle cake here.
We also want a written copy or photo of your recipe (using metric measures if possible). Your entry will be judged on appearance and ingredients but, unfortunately for the judge, not on taste.
This time there is no entry fee and no prize, but If you win, your recipe will be the one that is given in our 2021 show schedule for people to make!
