New Venue for Practise Sessions
18 June 2010

Alford Fiddlers are about to move their practise venue from the Heritage Centre and Museum to a room in Howe Trinity Hall in Main Street, Alford (see the weblink below). I was shown around the new Hall by Moyra Lawson and was impressed by the facilities. The room we will be using is warm, has comfortable seating, is well lit, has a well tuned piano, and tea and coffee making facilities are not far away in the kitchen and are included in the hire fee. Donations towards the hire of the room will be welcome. Our sessions will now start at 7.15pm and run until 9.15pm and the first meeting in the new venue will be on Wednesday 18th August (we are taking a short break from practise sessions during the summer). Hope to see you there, perhaps some new faces as well as established members.

Despite the move, we will be maintaining a close relationship with the Heritage Centre and Museum and hope to hold concerts there in the future.
