  Former Accompanist for RSCDS (Stirling), the society promoting the traditional dances of Scotland. For several years accordionist in ceilidh band Potted Hough, accompanist for a children’s Highland dance class in Dunblane, piano accompanist for a children’s Scottish Country dance class in Dunblane, and accordionist with the Inverallan Occasionals fiddle and accordion group.

  Delivered handbell lectures, led ringing workshops and been massed-ringing conductor for many groups and events in Britain, was massed-ringing conductor at the 5th International Handbell Symposium in Edmonton, Canada in 1992, a guest clinician at the Handbell Exploration in Phoenix, Arizona in 1996, and massed-ringing conductor at the 9th International Handbell Symposium in Birmingham, England in 2000, and the 11th International Handbell Symposium in Toronto, Canada in 2004
