Volunteer Sunday - 24th August

Our gallant 12 strong band of volunteers, clearing overgrown paths, lopping overhanging branches, clearing overgrown steps and clearing litter..... helping to make London Road Gardens feel safer and more accessible.......

After a well spent morning we had time for a lunch break and a relaxed chat about future work in the Gardens.......

City Council Staff provided advice, tools, insurance cover and a litter pick up at the end of the day.....

A good start.... watch out for details of our next Volunteer day......
