Ralph and Malta
According to Wikioedia, Malta was one of the most intensively bombed areas during the war. The Luftwaffe (German Air Force) and the Regia Aeronautica (Italian Royal Air Force) flew a total of 3,000 bombing raids, dropping 6,700 tons of bombs on the Grand Harbour area alone, over a period of two years.

The Bristol Blenheim Bomber was built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company and served in the British Royal Air Force. With twin engines it carried a crew of three. It was a light aircraft of about 13m in length and 17.2m in wingspan.
