Eric (Ernest) Clay, was born on 10 February 1974 (his Uncle Nigel’s 31st birthday), the only child of Crispin (David Powell) Clay (see page 112) and (Ortrud Christa) "Orti" née Wiese, and was educated at the Drakensberg Choir Scool, South Africa. From 1996 to 1998, he trained to be a dispensing optician in Germany.
In November 2005 Alex Fink consented to marry him, and the wedding took place in Heilbron on ? August 2006.
They had two children:-
Oscar (Robert) born on the fourth of July, 2007.
Anna born on St. Patrick's Day, 17th March 2009
They moved to Reading, Berks, to practice, and lived at 94B Basingstoke Rd., Reading, Berks. In 2001 he moved to near Cambridge, and started an Open University course in computer science.
Alexndra nee Fink
