Spoon/Club Nights Start on Wed & Fri Evening from 5th Aug
Beauly Bowling Club reintroduce Spoon/Club Nights. Starting on Wednesday 5th Aug @7pm prompt start.
From Wed 5th Aug for the rest of the season every Wednesdays and Fridays @ 7pm start;
- Players wishing to take part should arrive a bit before 7pm and ensure their names are recorded to be sure of playing a game and to comply with the Scottish Government’s contact tracing requirements.
- Only members who have paid their 2020 Membership fees are eligible to play. The normal £2 Spoon fee per session is payable by each playing member.
- The 2m social distancing rule must always be observed on and off the green. The wearing of a face mask is a personal choice for each individual to make.
- Players will need to change outside the Clubhouse and can only enter the Clubhouse to use the toilet facilities, one person at a time.
- Jacks can be set at short, medium or long by the same player after each end by using their feet, rather than rolling the jack down the rink.
- Members are responsible themselves for the cleaning of any equipment used (bowls, mats, jacks and toilet facilities if used).
- Every member who comes along to play under this plan, has to take responsibility for their own actions and should always practice safe hygiene procedures at all times.
- Visitors are most welcome to join a game on a Spoon Night. A cost of £2.50 per person per visit will be levied - a maximum visits for a visitor in any one season is 3. The club will impose a maximum of 3 visitors per evening and record their full contact details.
- Mary Donaldson and Tony Boyland will be organising these Spoon Nights and will be responsible for logging all players, and spectators names & unknown contact details, on the Daily Sheet in order to fulfil the Scottish Government’s contact tracing requirements.
- Regrettably, there will be no end-of-season "Spoon Cup" award.
- It is very important that any members who have COVID-19 symptoms, or anyone in their household displaying symptoms, should NOT attend Beauly Bowling Club. They must stay at home and follow NHS guidance. The symptoms of coronavirus are: a high temperature, a new and continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
- This club competition complies with the current Bowls Scotland guidelines."
