The Hurlford Community Centre near Kilmarnock was filled with Bassets from near and far for our Judge Phil Freer of the famous Switherland kennel.   He found his Best In Show in Di Williams’ Braithwell Miss Marple Of Bromp who had won the Limit Bitch class.   The Reserve Bitch CC went to Debbie & Malcolm Ellrich’s Malrich Ana Steele coming from Junior Bitch.   The Dog CC winner, and Reserve Best In Show, was Ian & Janette Seddon’s Ch. Ribbleriver Show Me Off At Sedonia with the Reserve Dog CC going to the Ellrich’s Malrich King Of Diamonds, both from the Open Dog class.   Best Puppy was Val Green’s Sedonia’s Razamataz At Braithwell and Best Veteran was the Ellrich’s Malrich Bubbles.

Again, it was pleasing to welcome some new exhibitors and visitors to the show and they all appeared to enjoy their day and hope to come to future events.   The hard working committee provided all the home made catering which, in view of the date, had a distinct Halloween theme to the menu.
