Invitation to WADU Forum
Dear colleagues,
My name is Amanda Uzor. I'm a journalist with the voice magazine published in the Netherlands. I'm chair the Africa media practitioners in diaspora based in the Netherlands.
World African Diaspora Union(WADU)is organizing the first WADU forum in Europe on 28&29 of October 2011 in the Netherlands under the Theme: "A New African World Order". The vice-President of WADU, Dr. Jeffries will be coming from USA with other delegates to join panelists from around Europe in this very important forum for African Diaspora in Europe and for Africa. We think it's very important to have Dr. Vincent Magombe join the great panelists to discuss issues of African media. I have sent him an email and didn't get any response. Please do call me on 0031 20 334 32 89/0031 685764931.

Comrade in arms in journalism
Dear compatriot,

Our paths had not crossed each other since we parted from the old school and thanks to the new technology that has linked us together again. We may differ in our analogy of world events in one way or another but the end justifies the means as Nicholas Machiavelli once said. Keep up the hard line of constructive criticism of African governments to ensure checks and balances and avoid forums that have no content or that are aimed at destroying your personality. Long live freedom of the press!

Thanks Ajabo - I agree totally. Yours is wise counsel.

News letter
I have watched you on Sky and BBC a number of times with a lot of interest and admiration. However somehow I never had chance to take note of the organization you belong to. Today I watched you on Dateline London and managed to take note of your organization and managed to read on your website your organization's objectives. A suggestion I have is that why can't you go further by setting up a newsletter where some Africans can contribute articles to express their views, stories, including high profile issues about democracy and development in Africa. I personally have have a lot but have no means to express them. I feel the newsletter can attract alot of audience

Thanks for your contribution. As of now, the main focus of Africa Inform International is expert analysis of African Affairs, via radio and television broadcasting, at both continental and global levels. But your advice is clearly instructive - and something to seriously reflect on.
