Beaver Scout Activities:

Explore Badge - walk down the canal - September 2017

The Beavers had a great time walking down the local canal seeing what there was to see! Beforehand they talked about what they thought they would see on their exploration and then afterwards we looked at all the photos we took.

 

 

 

 

 

Beaver Scout Sports Afternoon - June 2015- the District Beaver Scouts had fun at a sports afternoon held at the Marlpit, Shobnall Fields.

 

Archery - Nov 2014 - we had a great night doing some archery at our Scout HQ. Thank you to Nigel Evans for helping us out.

 

 

  RAF COSFORD - Oct 2013   - this was a joint activity with Beavers & Cubs. The weather was miserable, but everyone had a great day!

DISTRICT BEAVER SCOUT CAMPFIRE - Nov 2012

Our Colony joined the rest of the District at Rolleston Scout HQ for an enjoyable evening around the campfire!! We sang lots of silly songs and finished the evening with a hot dog and a warm drink!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

SLEEPOVER - Diamond Jubilee Theme - Sat 2nd/Sun 3rd June

Please note that the sleepover has unfortunately had to be cancelled due to lack of interest.

Thank you to all the Beavers that attended to represent our Scout Group. Brown Beaver was very proud of you all and you looked great marching through the town! Well done boys!!

DISTRICT BEAVER SCOUT VISIT TO TWIN LAKES - 24.3.12

The Beavers had a great day out at Twin Lakes Theme Park; the weather was great for us too!

We enjoyed looking at some of the animals around the farm sections as well as all the great rides!!

BEAVER SCOUT VISIT TO

ST. JOHN'S CHURCH - 29.2.12

 

We visited St. John's Church as part

of our Promise Challenge. Father

Michael welcomed us and showed us

the different stained glass windows.

We were able to ask lots of questions and explore the church further. We had our usual drink & biscuit and then Father Michael ended the evening by talking to us about the season of Lent and Easter. It was an interesting visit and we enjoyed it too.
