One of my favourite routes starting from the historic town of Rye, which takes you through the Tillingham Valley and then up to Peasmarsh Church, before dropping down through the Pelsham Estate - a hidden gem this with its own cricket ground where incredibly the West Indies and India played in the 1920s! You cross the River Tillingham again before heading up towards Udimore, and then descend into the Brede Valley before cutting across country back to Rye. Superb views all the way round, but a challenging route!
