A stunning route on the South Downs, with magnificent views of the Downs including the famed chalk figure of the Long Man of Wilmington. This route is the only one outside the 1066 area, but it would have been criminal not to include it! Apart from the superb views and fresh air, you also have the chance to stop off at the delightful village of Alfriston, which has some of the best pubs and tea rooms in East Sussex!
