Welcome

I am a big fan of 70's and 80's.style analogue synthesizer music and have recenrtly discovered the possibilities of using PC software to accurately re-creating the sound of that era. On this site you will find some of the things I have been working on including music and also the virtual synthesizers I have created and used for it. There are a number of free VST instruments and MP3 samples to download.

To hear some of my latest creations please feel free to download my tunes from my Music page.

For my music I predominantly use vintage “replica” virtual VST synths. Most of my music I play “live”, i.e. use the simplest possible recording facilities, arpeggiators and effects to capture the authentic sound of early electronic music. But I am also experimenting with some new ideas, like incorporating the ultimate additive synthesizer, the classic pipe organ (virtual) but also other instruments, into my compositions.

MiniMogue VA virtual synthesizer, loosly based on the Minimoog V synth. The original analogue synthesizer was a fairly basic piece of kit using usually a very small number of oscillators, so called “modifiers” and filters to create sound. Modern computer technology allows very accurate re-creation of such instruments in the virtual world. VST (Virtual Sound Technology) allows the development of instruments that truly sound amazing. Why not check it out for yourself? There are even a few free VST modules for you to try yourself.
