I currently only use virtual synthesizers of the kind popular in the 70's and 80's or so called analogue synthesizers. Most of those used "additive synthesis" to created the sound using a number of oscillators which worked in tandem to create various effects. The sound was then run through a series of filters and so called "envelopes" in order to add even more creative effects. The instruments in am using at the moment can be found in my Equipment section. Some of these instruments are available free to download.

Positive Organ

And here is for something different. An organ? Yes, my original insterest in music started with the baroque pipe organ, and is still one of my favorite instruments. Actually, the pipe organ effectively uses very similar additive synthesis to create the overall sound as the analogue synthesizers do. So that's perhaps why I like both instruments, it is possible to create sounds from scratch. More about this and an amazing little "big" VSTi "Positief" organ you can find in my Positief section.
