All that can be said is that Newfield are by far the best team in the division bar none,the lads tried hard but with the standerd set by Newfild and our confiedence rock bottom the result was no suprise,but wehave to move on,dust our selves down and go again,so congrats to Newfield who are champions of div B.

Holy Souls 5 v 1 Wychall
Goalscorers Liam 1,MOM Connor
Game of two halfs,or even perhaps four quarters,Wychall started very well taking the game too Souls,playing some good football and a few chances,but against the run of play Souls took the the lead with a well taken goal after a good move spliting the Wychall defence wide open,the lads kept their heads up and soon got their reward with a goal from Liam who was having a very good game again,half time 1-1.
The seconed half was more end too end,with Souls making good use of the slope,Souls once again took the lead after a fine save from Dan in goal, the rebound fell too a Souls player who put it away.The lads still kept their heads up and had more good chaces,but some for some fine goalkeeping and perhaps a lack of confidence in front of goal,we failed too put them away,Souls though didn't have this problem and with about five or six mins to go got the killer goal,a few heads now droped allowing Souls to get two more goals to make what was a close game look very onesided,the lads played very well today and really did'nt deserve to lose,but we did and have to go on too the next game with heads held high,well done to Holy Souls and good luck for the rest of the season to them.

Wychall 0 v 3 Holy Soul

Although a 3-0 scoreline the lads played very well and where unlucky not too come away with at least a draw,we are getting better and if we keep believing and get a bit of luck (good luck instead of bad)some results should come our way,well played everyone and well played Holy Souls.

Boldmere Falcons 2 v 1 Wychall

What a differance from the last game,only severn players and they worked their socks off,every one of them can be proud of the way they played today and where very unlucky to lose to a last min goal,if they play like this every week they will win more games than they lose,so lets keep it going and hopfully get some wins under our belts,very well played Boldmere who also played very well in a very very good game and we look forward to doing it again in two weeks,as we vist them again this time in the cup.

Not a lot too say here a very poor day at the office,we could have lost by a lot more but for some fine goalkeeping from Connor,we need to do a lot better,we are a lot better than this,well played too Cofton who played very well onthe day and deserved their win.

Wychall 3 v 2 Olton Raverns
Goalscorers Max2, Liam 1, MOM Max & Michael.
Wet and miserable yet again but the pitch was good so a game we had,Wychall kicking down hill soon took the lead with a well taken goal from Max,was we going to get a few today we hoped so but after a few chances went high wide and into the Olton keeper,s hands, Olton got the equlizer from a corner just before half time,half time 1-1.
The seconed half went much the same with Wychall pushing for a seconed goal,but it was Olton who scored next to put Wychall under presure,Wychalls faliure to take chances once again looked like it was going to cost yet another game,Wychall got the equlizer through Liam being in the right place at the right time,then Max got the deciding goal with a few mins remaing,it has to be said that Olton really made a game of this tie and played really well,so well done to them and good luck for the rest of the season.

Wychall 0 v 0 Gleebe Farm Colts
Goalscorers - MOM Team.
Only severn players this week so a though game becomes even harder with no subs for the the lads to take a break,still we have too get on with it,Wychall kicked of down hill and as usual with these two teams was a battle from the off,both teams getting plenty of the ball and playing good football,some really good moves from both teams creating few real chances,but when there where break throughs or shots on goal both goalkeepers where strong and in control.Half time 0-0.
The seconed half carried on from where the teams left off,still plenty of good football but both defences coming out on top with it has to be said some very good defending,Gleebe where pushing hard as the Wychall (MAGNIFECENT SEVERN)started to feel the pace but managed to hold out for a very well deserved draw,as always when we play Gleebe the game is very entertaining even though we don't get many goals,so well done every body,and we look forward to the next encounter with Gleebe later in the season.

Cofton Eagals 3 v 1 Wychall
Goalscorers George 1, MOM Ciaran.
Yet another game when Wychall should of had the game rapped up by half time but for the usuall problem of putting the the ball in the net after having plenty of chances,Wychall had the best of the the first half resricting Cofton to just a few chances,Wychall took the lead with a very well taken free kick by George who for the seconed week running put the ball in the top corner,half time 1-0 Wychall.
The seconed half started the same,but has the game went on Cofton pushed for the equlizer and soon got it after some slack defending by Wychall,Cofton where getting more chances now with Wychalls heads down they soon took the lead bad defending again not helping Wychall,most of the time now Wychall where getting cought on the break with the lads not getting back quick enough to help MOM Ciaran who had made some fine interceptions especily in the first half,Cofton got their third goal with yet another break which to be fair came because of the lads pushing forward looking for the equlizer,a fine finish past Dan who was in Goal because Connor had gone off injured.A good all round performance which if Wychall could take just a couple of their chances would end in a better result,well done too Cofton who pushed all the way took their chances and got the points,we look forward to the return game later in the season.

Wychall 1 v 0 Redditch Town

Summer at last better late the never,a visit from Redditch and if past meetings are to go by it will be a tough one,and so it was,a battle of midfield and defence,not to many chances from either side but pleoty of good footy and hard work from both teams,half time 0-0.
The seconed half was much the same and it was clear it was going to tacke something special to break the deadlock,it came about half way through the seconed half,a free kick to Wychall outside the box on the left,George steped up and put the the ball in the top right corner.Redditch pushed for the equlizer but a penalty shout was as near as thiy came.A very good even game which could have gone either way,a proper cup tie,unlucky for Redditch and all the best to them for the rest of the season.

Aston Field Coltc 0 v 2 Wychall

Rain and more rain,I thought no game today,but after a pitch inspection we are on,so AF kick off and get in the first shot,Wychall then take the game to AF and its not long befor a superb through ball from Oliver put Dan in on goal and all he had to do was tap it in,it was not all but mostly one way in the first half,and a seconed goal was well taken by Max for his first goal for the team.Half time 2-0 Wychall.
The seconed half was more end to end with AF getting stronger and more confident as the game went on in fact they had Wychall backs to the wall for the last ten mins or so,and it was only some fine saves by Connor in goal that kept AF out,a very good game by both teams on a not very nice day,so well done every one and good luck to Aston Fields for the rest of the season.

Smithswood 5 v 0 Wychall
Goalscorers, MOM Oliver.
Away to Smithswood and another tougth game,and a very good game it was with Smithswood going ie front about half way through the first half,the half was end to end with Wychall having chance after chance but not putting any away.Half time 1-0 Smithswood.
The seconed half was much the same but with Smithswood taking advantage of Wychalls slopy defending and putting four more goals away.Some hard work needs to be done,well done to Smithswood and we will look forward to the return game.

Wychall 3 v 5 Rubery

First home game of the season we welcome Rubery,Wychall kick off up hill and got of to a flyer with Dan giving Wychall a very early lead,it didn't last long though,a long kick from the Rubery keeper bounced over every one and was tucked away by a Rubery forward,on we went and it was George to put Wychall back in the lead again only to see the same thing happen again only this time it was a fine goal from Rubery to bring them back leval,once again Wychall took the lead when Dan again put the ball in the net,Wychall had had the lions share of the match and went too half time only one goal in front when they should have been more.Half time 3-2 Wychall.
The seconed half started and it, Wychall thought they had won the game when a super move from keeper ended whith Dan getting on the end of a cross from Max to rattle the Rubery goal which shook like it was in an earthquake.However it was Rubery who went on to get the next goals and go on to win the game which Wychall sould have had won by half time,still all credit to Rubery who never gave up and kept coming back to finaly win 5-3.A great game and we look forward to the return at Rubery.

Newfield Lions 8 v 0 Wychall
M OM George
Wake up the season has started and we are away to Newfield Lions,formaly Halas Hawks,so we new they would be a good team and it would be hard not having had any pre-season friendlies (due to the naff weather).The lads started off ok but where under the cosh straight away and I thought its going to be a long day,the first mistake was made by me when I changed the tried and trusted formation,which resulted in Newfield getting a goal while the lads where still thinking about what I had done to them,this was followed by another goal to zap the lads confedence some more,two more before half time,all this and Wychall still had a few chance which where saved by the Newfield keeper or went hgh and wide. Half time 4-0 Newfield.
The seconed half was damage limtation,and the lads keept at it but chances where few,MOM George who chased every thing all day was on one of his power runs when he was brought down just inside the box,so we had a chance of a consalation goal but even then there keeper pulls off a super save.I'm sure that had we had a few games leading up to this game we would have made a better game of this one but lets take nothing away from Newfield who where superb,we will try to get our game going and hope to give a better show of ourselves next time we meet.
