 The Yew is hitting the shelves and is beautiful, and there is new stocks of Burr Elm. There's BIG blocks of Lime drying, the stocks of Wenge, Zebrano and Purpleheart are back in.

Welcome

The timber shop is about one mile east of glasgow cross, it's a bit tricky to find, it's off Broad street in an industrial estate, you want to find Crownpoint Road which is between and parallel to London Rd and the Gallowgate, running from Abercrombie street to Fielden Street. Then turn down at the Blue and white painted wall, Forrest Street is on your left. Look for a Bright red and green sign.

Native and exotic timbers

There are currently about 120 timbers available in a range of sizes from pen blanks to large boards for furniture making. I'm re-doing the timber page soon with the new species and more information.

Tree Removal

I get a lot of offers of trees, and am always grateful but please note that I get a lot for nothing or in exchange for dry wood, so while I am happy to take your felled tree away I can only pay a token amount and am only really looking for unusual timbers like laburnum, walnut, holly.
