Welcome to Wollaton Natural History Society
The Society exists to promote the study and appreciation of the natural world by arranging regular illustrated talks, guided walks, recording and publications.
The programme of indoor illustrated talks by guest speakers, takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month starting at 7.30pm at St Leonards Community Centre, Bramcote Lane, Wollaton. NG8 2ND (Opposite Wollaton library).

Meetings are held inside St Leonards Community Hall.
18th October: AGM & Photographic Competition Presentation.
NEXT GUIDED FIELD WALK:
'Fungi Foray’ at Cloud Wood, Leicestershire, 10.30am Wednesday 4th October. Phil Lee will be leading the walk, he knows the wood very well and has an interest in fungi. The walk will be weather dependant; if the forecast on the day could result in the walk being cancelled, there will be an update on this website that morning.
Free for members, visitors £2.

MEMBERSHIP: £16 annually, payable in January, join on the door.
Pro rata after March.
VISITORS are always welcome: £3.00 per meeting, £2 for walks.
At meetings there is a charge of 50p for refreshments during the break.
