Welcome to the website for Wedmore, Somerset, and surrounding area, including: Bagley, Blackford, Chapel Allerton, Clewer, Cocklake, Crickham, Heath House, Latcham, Little Ireland, Mudgley, Sand, Stone Allerton, Theale, West End, West Ham, and West Stoughton.

But why the "Isle" of Wedmore, I hear you ask!
Well, simply because at one time, long, long ago, Wedmore was surrounded by water!   The Somerset Levels (Tealham and Tadham Moor) do still flood from time to time, especially in the winter.

This website could do with a little more care and attention than I am able to give it - anyone out there who could spare a few minutes from time to time help keep it updated?  You can either learn how to use this very easy site, or just email me any info that you think should be here.
