Welcome to our digitel shop, Wissinger Interiors is a small family business that started in 1976 on the Archway Road, London N6, and grew to an international supplier of fine antiques and fine art. From its humble beginnings in Archway Road the business grew to a small warehouse in Bermondsey London SE1, near the famous New Caledonian Market. Here under the ancient oaw of  "market ouvert" one could become the "new"owner of any item - providing it was sold to you BEFORE SUNRISE under 'marché ouvert', "if goods were openly sold in designated markets between sunrise and sunset, provenance could not be questioned and effective title of ownership was obtained" source from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_ouvert

After a number of years the business outgrew its first warehouse at 166 Bermondsey street, and moved too 173 Bermondsey street. From here the business grew, and exported furniture and objects d'art all over the world.

In 1981 the business moved out of London, to its new location in the Cotswolds market town of Chipping Norton http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipping_Norton

Since then, the busness has made many people happy with their purchases of both antique furniture and objects d árt.

In 2005, we decided to open a branch in America to sell direct to theAmerican market, where the hassle of  shipping and handling was removed and our clientele could see and touch the items of interest. this has proved a success and we have shipped 2 more containers over to America in order to keep a varied and high quality level of stock.
