The Wimborne Allotment Association was founded 16th.October 2008. Initially, members joined from three sites, Cuthbury, Julians Road, and St.Margarets, but all Wimborne allotment holders are welcome.

We aim to promote the growing of vegetables, plants, and flowers using green methods. We encourage the social interaction of all members, covering a wide range of ages and experience, and promote the sharing of knowledge. We support the site agents in ensuring the plots are kept tidy, fertile, and fully occupied. We have negotiated discounts, for our members, with local horticulture suppliers.  We aim to organise social events, to include, guest speakers, competitions, barbeques, a garden show.
