BRINGING THE OUTDOORS TO LIFE

WildNess is an outdoor company with a unique difference!! We run sessions which bring together great coaching in new skills and disciplines, whilst promoting environmental themes and “leave no trace” principles. We specialise in getting back to real nature and use the unique Scottish Highlands as our classroom! It is our belief that linking outdoor activities with an understanding of how to interact with them and some knowledge and understanding of the landscape, flora, fauna, culture and history makes for a much better experience and one which will hopefully last a lifetime! There are so many interesting things to learn and it is our hope that we pass on some of the passion we have about the great outdoors!!

OUR BASE

WildNess runs from a small village called Foyers on the shores of Loch Ness. This is a unique area with the stunning surroundings of the Loch and a great place to spot the monster if you’re lucky!! Activities are available on site and there are plenty of accommodation options in the village from camping, to lodges, to the hotel. Links can be found on the website. There is so much to explore in the village, with woodland walks and waterfalls. The Scottish Highlands and all their mountains and lochs are available for guiding. We can arrange guided hill walking trips, or longer expeditions depending on your requirements. We offer the following activities:

  • Guided Hill Walks
  • Archery
  • Geocaching Treasure Hunts
  • Wood and Camp Craft Skills
  • Environmental Education
  • Team Building Days
  • Wild Camping walking trips

WILDNESS AIMS
Our aim for all our activities is to ensure you have a safe and fun time in the great outdoors. We like to provide a really relaxed atmosphere so you can feel comfortable asking any questions you like about the activity, the landscape, the area, the history, the people. If you have a query and would like a programme setting up, then please get in touch. We would love to hear from you and see what we can do.
