Welcome to the Whinhill Renovation site

We started a six month renovation of Whinhill in October. As usual we will be keeping a diary of the project, so you can follow our progess. Whinhill must be photo perfect for Isla & Donald's wedding in July!

We have used freecycle to extend the life of the carpets, kitchen,  cooker, washing machine etc. The books were catalogued into an Excel file for family & friends to select from and the rest donated to DADCA who held a book fair. Many folk our now enjoying books from the "Bowie Library"!

The furniture has been moved from Bonar Bridge to the double garage at Whinhll as the new tenants moved into Cranachan on 25th March. Wester Whinhill is being used for holiday lets, so we moved in with Joan's Mum for two weeks.

The latest news is that we moved in over the weekend 4-6th May and since then the joiners have finished the decking and the tilers have fitted kitchen wall tiles & fire surround tiles. Hooray and huge thanks to all who have helped us get this far.
