Our first meeting of 2019 began with Robert Appleyard presenting an impressive collection of projected images that he had taken during his visits to the Isle of Skye. The frequent showing of both the colour and monochrome image on the same screen was very interesting, prompting a most illustrious member to comment that he thought that the colour images had the edge!

Following the interval, Eric spoke about website matters, appealing for new images to refresh and add to member's galleries and project pages. A new facility is being investigated whereby documents giving hints/tips/suggestions linked to the next meeting's project would be available on-line, then stored in a library for future reference.

Copies of the presentation on Kingsley Tayler were available on DVD for £5, as were Basil's recent workshop DVDs - all proceeds to the group's funds.

Basil explained and clarified aspects of next month's "10 Print Challenge" and asked for ideas and speakers for future presentations.

This was followed by members showing and discussing prints that they has brought.

 

Peter was one of the few who had managed 3 different shots from the same spot!
