November 14th 2018 saw a well-attended meeting at Porlock. The newly-modified display stands were a great success. Our thanks go to Basil for his hard work, and we look forward to seeing some more!
The first part of the meeting was a presentation about the work of local photographer Richard Kingsley Tayler from 1935 to the 1970's. Many images of the Minehead Lifeboat, The Lynmouth Flood Disaster, Minehead Swimming Pool, The Visit of the Beatles and the Building of Butlins were among those included, with the possibility of more to follow at some time in the future.
After tea & biscuits, members showed their own prints, with "dead flowers" being the loose theme.
We were pleased to hear news that John, our joint founder, was getting organized in Shropshire, and we wish him well in his new home.
