November 2017 Exhibition.
An excellent turnout of over 20 members meant that Luccombe Village Hall was filled for our annual exhibition, and all available display spaces were taken up by a varied and interesting collection of monochrome prints. A substantial amount was collected for the Poppy Appeal.
Thanks to Rod Higginson for supplying the monochrome images below. The lighting caused me problems with colour.
The works of two internationally renowned photographers were recommended for further investigation: Chema Madoz, a Spanish surrealist, and by contrast, Edwin Smith, an English photographer who specialised in landscapes. (Clicking the link takes you to a local Edwin Smith image)
