There was a very good turnout at the July meeting and we were well entertained by Rev. Stephen Humphrys who occupied most of the first half by telling of his experiences with a Hasselblad while making a photographic record of the extensive restoration work at Christ Church, Spitalfields in Central London. His admiration of the standard of craftmanship was supported by the collection of photographs that he brought with him. The complete project can be seen on line by visiting the website of The Friends of Christ Church Spitalfields, where many more of his images are on display in the 'pictures' section. His informative, fascinating and often humerous presentation was enjoyed by all.
