Despite it being a lovely summer's day, a good attendance occupied Porlock Village Hall for this meeting.
After Basil opened the meeting, Stewart Lane talked on "Indelible Images", pictures that have left an impression on him from the sixties to the present day. These ranged from an impressive composite image from the 1850's to a harrowing picture showing the effects of environmental mercury pollution in Japan during the 1950's-60's. He concluded his presentation by wondering if these images actually influenced his own picture-taking, or was it really a matter of just being in the right place at the right time.
