Welcome, I make knives for bushcraft. I make these utilitarian pieces for adults who may have a purpose for their order or just an intrinsic appreciation of knives, blades and weapons..

I use high carbon tool steel and spring steel for the various intended uses of my blades. I can also obtain plane irons, circular saw blades to create a tool with a recycled feel and I personally love recreating the look of pioneer knives of the 1800's with simple lines but very effective utility performance.

Using reclaimed hardwoods for scales,all my edged tools will be checked for effectiveness before the final grinding, finishing and oiling. I thoroughly believe in trialing even the most dainty fishing knife by battoning through small logs along the grain, battoning across the grain and light chopping,,why?? That handle must not work loose even on a knife only intended for preparing small game..period. I want my tools to be virtually battle ready with a temper that is resilient for more than the intended use and you will have the security of knowing it can be used hard in times of necessity.

Small Bowie Old planer blade, oak scales with brass pins..	Bowie Clip Old planer blade, oak scales, brass pins with lanyard hole, profiled scales for grip.

Dewhursts Reborn Very old butchers knife, refurbished with oak with a springy machete temper for bushcraft chopping.	Clipped Chopper Found as an abused, rusting mess in a boot sale.Reprofiled, reground, rescaled, rehardened and tempered for a light springing action when in use.

Divers.. For a friend, reprofiled and cleaned to give a new lease of life,a dependable roadie tool for cutting PA leads or canvas and often used for hammering rigging clamps with the heavy pommel.	Fishing knife A commission for a son-in-law, three weeks of gentle grinding,shaping to achieve a hollow grind whilst getting a piercing tip with a gutting blade..In stainless steel with hardwood scales, the balance was bang on the choil for fatigue free use. A lot of patient work but worth it.

Frontiersman High speed steel blade, hardening patterns left on for a rough look, but a very effective bushcraft blade with a comfortable handle.	Eclipse Spring steel blade with a resilient temper, full tang, spring steel guard, iroko scales with brass and aluminium..made with a tanto theme and a sheath with two welts..great performance and balance..I want one for myself now!!
