Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council have decided to let council house tenants  vote on the transfer of their council housing stock to a Housing Association.   They have a budget of £5.2 million set aside for this -  including a sum to persuade  tenants to vote 'yes'.

The choice is up to the tenants and the outcome will be  what the majority want.

This website advises council tenants to vote NO and gives reasons for saying so.

In order to be democratic we will also publish views of anyone who thinks otherwise.   In the end we know that commonsense will prevail and that tenants will not be tempted to go into the unknown, but will vote NO and feel safe in the hands of those who have looked after them over the past years.

The decision is up to council house tenants - this website can only advise in good faith.
