Welcome to Voiceworks choir

Voiceworks last performance was a celebration of their 20 year anniversary, on 2nd October, 2022. Sadly, the group has not rehearsed together since. The option to reform may be discussed in 2024.

However, many members of the group are still active, and can be found singing with other local choirs, including: Inverness Singers, Invergordon Singers, Dingwall Choral, and newly formed The Peoples Show Choir (Black Isle group, in North Kessock).

Mairi Mackenzie will lead Inverness Singers in the traditional Carol Concert at Culbokie Church Centre, 7pm on Thu 21st December, 2023; and Invergordon Parish Church, 7pm on Wed 20th December.

 

Voiceworks until 2022

Voiceworks is a vocal group based in the Highlands of Scotland, performing throughout the Highlands, including: Inverness, Dingwall, Culbokie, Invergordon, and also Dunrobin Castle, Dornoch Cathedral and St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh.

Voiceworks tackles music across many genres. See our back catalog of RECENT CONCERTS inc: Christmas Carols, Latin & Jazz, Theatrical Play of WW1 & WW2 songs,  Operettas & Musicals. 

We are pleased to be back in rehearsal and performing again after a break of 2 years due to Covid 19 restrictions.

Mairi Mackenzie has recently taken on the role of Musical Director, having been pianist with the group since it was formed in 2002.

As well as showcasing our choral sound, our concerts also feature music and performances from our talented soloists, and vocal combinations (duets, trios and ensembles).
