About GACCAll local authorities in Scotland are responsible for setting up what is known as a Community Council Scheme. The purpose of community councils is to ascertain, co-ordinate and express the views of the community it represents to local authorities and other public bodies. Glamis and Area Community Council has a maximum of 10 members and is the Community Council which covers the Glamis area. Its members are Margaret Stoker (Chair, Glamis) John Wood (Treasurer, Charleston) Jennifer Duncan (Secretary, Glamis) David Sutton (Glamis) Teresa Donaldson (Charleston) Marion Gibson (Douglastown) Rae Dick (Glamis)
Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 7.30 pm in the Strathmore Arms, Glamis. All members of the public are invited to attend. Agendas and Minutes are posted on notice boards in the area. Minutes are posted on the "GACC News" section of this website. | ||
