The Vikings have returned to the Isle of Skye, on the West Coast of Scotland!

The first Vikings from Norway arrived on these shores around 794 AD. After they were defeated at the Battle of Largs in 1263, it took another three years before Viking Rule was over.

They had made their mark on Scotland for over 470 years.
