Anthony Butler AKA Tony Blayzem was born and raised in Fayetteville NC, also known as Fayettenam. Tony Blayzem grew up in a world inspired by great hip hop emcees from the likes of Tupac, Biggie Smallz, Wu Tang Clan, Red Man, Nas, Common, etc. Tony has spent countless hours in the studio to create his own mind blowing formula that has entertained his city's ears for years. At the ripe age of 15 the young emcee realized he had a gift to move people with his dynamic performances and witty word play; quickly falling in love with the motivational sounds of hip-hop. Through out the years Tony has performed live shows up and down the east coast, opening up for acts like T.I. & Young Bloodz. Tony has also shared a stage in his own hometown with Yung Joc and hip hop legends like Lord Of the Underground. As well as remaining a freestyle champion on a local radio station 104.5 but these are only a few things that started his drive for success! With the recent completion of his first mixtape entitled “TRUTH B4 FAME” Tony states, “Music is something that allows you to express how you feel no matter what day it is, music moves the body, the words move the mind and soul”. Using his music as a personal diary to share with the world, Tony becomes an open book as he blesses our ears with the raw essence of hip-hop, painting a vivid picture of what life is like growing up in the streets of Fayetteville NC. Tony Blayzem believes in giving the fans real music that they can relate to instead of the fairytale scene that has become popular in the rap game today. Tony Blayzem realizes the power in music and hopes to successfully deliver us an impressive style of lyrics and street stories that the fans can understand, relate to and learn from.
