TRANSPORT BUS SURVEY

COMMUNITY BUS SERVICE IN THE UPPER TAY AREA

WE NEED YOUR OPINION

You may be aware of the Upper Tay Transport project that has been developing over the last couple of years.  The purpose of the project is to improve transport in the Upper Tay area for the benefit of community and environment.  We hope to be able to develop and support more transport options and encourage people to travel sustainably where possible. Although things are seriously hampered by the restrictions around Covid, we are planning for a better and brighter future.  The initiatives we are working on  include :

Community bus service

Community Transport Hub – to provide information and link services

Community Lifts – our volunteer driver scheme

Active travel – more walking and cycling

Public Transport-  improvements and promotion

LiftShare – promote to wide use in the area

Mobility project – mobility scooters, wheelchairs to borrow

Minibuses – to borrow for groups

One of our initiatives is to develop a Community Bus Service to complement and supplement public transport available locally, and to enable people to connect to public services and to get where they need to go.  We need to know what you think about this and where you would like to go and when.

We are asking everyone – individuals of all ages, people involved in local businesses, people involved in local schools, groups and organisations – to tell us what you think.  Please go to our survey, find it at the bottom of this page or use this link.

We will also be sending out a newsletter to keep people updated on what is happening.  You can leave your name and email via the survey or email info@uppertaytransport.org to sign up.

THANK YOU
