Latest contribution made by volunteers

We have some wonderful new volunteers in addition to our existing ones: Kirsty and Charmaine and newest volunteer Lily as well as Chloe who continues to do well with the horses in addition to her veterinary science studies. They have been great in doing one to one work with the horses and will continue to be great assets. Kirsty is our newest volunteer and is learning really well. She especially enjoys filling haylage nets and is interested in rehabilitation and farriery.

We are expanding this side of the charity doing more work with beneficiaries and aiming to help people develop transferable employability and lifeskills such as teamwork, communication, prioritisation, tact, empathy, resilience and responsibility

This summer as well as our wonderful continuing volunteers we have been joined by Karen, Lee, Joshua, Emily, Kimberley, Kai and Kelsey. They have achieved a lot, clearing docks by hand while our mower is STILL under repair, clearing ragworth, sweeping the drive of washed stone , sweeping the stables, clearing and burning all rubbish. The girls have lunged, groomed and plaited the horses daily and everyone is enjoying themselves.
