In this evenings league game Tomatin ran out 4-2 winners against the Caley Thistle S.C. They took the lead through Donald Poupard early in the first half with a long range strike. With Tomatin beginning to be in control they scored their second when, the smallest player on the park, Donald Poupard scored a header. 

With the second half coming to an end Caley Thistle S.C pulled one back when a corner was cleared but not closed down by Tomatin. The ball was then crossed back in and a Thistle player scored with a header.

The second half began with Thistle pulling level. Billy Urquhart squared the ball in the box and Tomatin defender Paul Cameron put the ball in his own net.

This was the wake up call Tomatin needed, they increased the tempo and went looking for the lead again. Tomatin restored the lead when the ball was played out wide to Peter Fraser who crossed for Martin Kennedy to convert.

The creator then became goal scorer when Donald Poupard played Peter Fraser through on goal, he calmly put the ball in the net to make it 4-2. This was how the game was too end.
