So, what is the Titanic?

The Titanic was a ship that set sail in Southampton on April 10th, 1912.

She docked in Cherbourg a day or so later and more passangers came aboard, the same happened at Queenstown.

The first few days of the vovage were uneventful, so there is not much to talk about for the 11-14th April. well, only the day was uneventful.

At about 11o'clock, Sunday, 14th April, Titanic struck a iceberg. People did not notice at first, but at about 1o'clock in the morning, many people were on lifeboats, but there was more than double that number of people still on the ship!!!

She sank at 2:20 a.m, 2 hours and 40 minutes after she hit the iceberg.

Many people still remember the Titanic, there is even a film called Titanic!!!

Titanic has two sisters, Olympic and Britannic.
