Andrew Darby is a snooker player originally from Ladywood in Birmingham. He is currently ranked at number 1 in the world  after his AG Cup, Easter Sunflower and Summer Sunshine Victories in 2009. He has been playing the game since he was a boy and is currently taking part in many tournaments. He is the only player to win The Grand Slam which he achieved in 2009.

 Away from snooker, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family at his home in Oldbury and is a member of a local church in Blackheath. 

He also has an interest in music and has released an album entitled 'The Man With the Magic Cue'
