The Gig In The Garden 2011
The gig in the garden held at the Osborne Centre on 30th July was a huge success. A local group The Wonky Donkeys played popular songs from the 60s, onwards. The set lasted for about two hours with a break which gave us the chance to get our picnics out. The second half of the gig finished with some of the members given the opportunity to put their singing talents to those present, we sang the popular 1980s Tears For Fears number SHOUT, the outcome, Britain has talent!!
The Donkey Sanctuary:
Dear Paul and the rest of The Wonky Donkeys.
Thank you so much for giving up your time on Sunday 14th August to play at our Donkey Summer Fair. Weren't we lucky with the weather? The fair was a huge success and everyone I spoke to seemed to be enjoying the music.
Accounts tell me that we raised around £11,500!! Just imagine how many donkeys and EST children we can help with those funds!
Thank you once again for your kind support; everybody thought the band was a great addition to the fair, I hope to see you again next year.
Kind Regards Claire Shapcott
