Due to Covid19 we can only deliver guests luggage to the property.
The Smiddy is situated on the south-east side of the island next door to Pier Cottage, and is approximately 250yds from the pier. The Smiddy overlooks An Laimhrig where the Shop/ Post Office, Tea-room and Craft Shop are situated and is an ideal spot to watch the many boats and yachts that come and go.
It is only a short walk from the Community Hall which hosts regular musical events and Craft Fairs.
There is a sandy beach nearby where visitors can see many different seabirds and watch the seals basking on the rocks. If you are lucky you might even see an otter.
The caves and the Sgurr are within easy reach. A taxi service leaves from the pier on a daily basis giving visitors the chance to explore the north side of the island and the Singing Sands.
The Smiddy sleeps two/three adults. Dogs are welcome.
