The Electric Sun ConcertIn the ever changing world of the music industry, there is a move away for a lot of artists from the traditional record company contract, and instead, they are aligning themselves with products and businesses. This concert is a miniature version of this concept.Hazel Passmore has recently been voted ‘Highland Business Woman of the Year’ after firmly establishing herself on the creative scene in the Highlands and Scotland. Her involvement at this concert would be as the overall presenter with her brand/name featured. She will create a specific piece of jewellery for the concert which every ticket for the gig will be entered in to a raffle which will be drawn and presented on the night. There will be a large screen erected behind the drums which will be utilised by both Hazel and CLIC Sargent before each band are onstage and by the bands during there performance to add to the whole larger than life atmosphere that will hopefully be created. The three bands which feature are all currently recording albums, and as such will all be keen to promote themselves on the night. Finally, part of the ticket price which will be donated to CLIC Sargent Children's Cancer Charity as Hazel and a number of band members have lost family members to cancer. The concert is scheduled for SUNDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2008. Its is hoped that the event will create a positive win-win outcome for Hazel, the bands, the charity, sponsors and the Ironworks.
