Traffic Survey: Action Demanded By Over 90%.

Our Clerk to the Parish Council reports that “over 90% of the village rated 'traffic' as the number 1 problem and wanted the PC to do something about it.”

The survey was delivered to 97 households in Cold Ashby and, of these, 93 were returned!

At a meeting on Friday 8th October, our councillors successfully presented residents’ concerns to our local MP, representatives from National Highways, Prologis (DIRFT), and West Northants Council.

It was agreed by all parties that a full traffic survey should be conducted to determine “the root cause of the problem” and to meet in the new year to assess the findings and discuss “possible solutions”.

Hopefully, this is the breakthrough which campaigners in the village have been seeking for many, many years.

The minutes of this meeting have been published HERE.
