A traditional pub selling real ales and a friendly atmosphere.

We are based in Attercliffe in Sheffield. The Carlton has been a pub since around the mid 1800's , in the 1970's it was a Tetleys house which was then sold and became a freehouse.

The building has been renovated and evolved over the years , it has a main bar area, pool and games room, further seating area and small but perfectly formed beer garden with parking at the rear.

We have 7 hand pumps, we aim to have at least 4 real ales on at any given time. We also have a large selection of single malt whiskys and of course the usual variety of beers, lagers ,spirits and wines.

Our pub appeals to people of all ages, we frequently have impromptude karaoke evenings etc!! If you are looking for an enjoyable evening then give us a try.

Opening hours are currently 11am-11pm Sun - Wed .  11am-late Thurs - Sat .                       

To get to us you can either get the supertram and get off at Attercliffe or jump on the 52 bus route which runs roughly every 10 mins. Or maybe if you are feeling energetic you could take a stroll down the five wiers walk.
