A Very Warm Welcome to The Beacon on The Hill
HISTORY OF THE BEACON ''one day he would open his own Spiritualist Sanctuary, and it would be called The Beacon On The Hill''.
For some time, Albert tried to find a venue in which to hold Spiritualist gatherings but to no avail, all doors were shut in his face. Albert continued his spiritual work, giving healing, wisdom and words of comfort to all who came in need. He raised thousands of pounds for charity, organising huge demonstrations of mediumship to audiences in excess of 200.
In 1995, Albert was in the middle of organising another big event when he became very ill. I visited him in hospital the day he passed to Spirit and he told me that he had now found his successor in me and he would continue his work from the Spirit World - which he has. The event went ahead and raised over £2,000 for the Royal Marsden.
Not too long after Albert's passing, a dear friend of his and ours - May Branson, contacted us to say she had found a venue. So in 1996, The Beacon On The Hill Sanctuary was born and Albert's dream was realised. From that date, with the help of family and friends, along with Albert and May from Spirit and the support of visiting mediums, we are still going strong and a warm welcome awaits all that would like to come along and pay us a visit.
